Beverly Hines has a passion and a heart for people and communities. After attending a grant writing workshop in 2016, presented by Pastor Anthony and Dr. Dawn Gibson, Ms. Hines saw a void and an opportunity to help 501 (c) 3 organizations get the needed financing to fulfill their missions and goals. Even though Ms. Hines started writing grants for her church in 2016, she really got active after Hurricane Florence (2018) produced flooding that destroyed many churches and homes in her community. She helped establish a non-profit, Jones County Community Hope, to help meet the needs of the people within the affected communities. Since it has been established, Jones County Community Hope has received over $400,000.00 in local, state and federal grants due to grant writing by Ms. Hines.

Along came the opportunity to write grants for other non-profits that needed help. She realized that organizations needed someone to handle the grant writing so they could focus on the work. Founded in 2016 by Ms. Hines, Simply Grants is a family-owned grant writing service based in Trenton, North Carolina. We currently work with North Carolina non-profit organizations. We work hard to research new grant opportunities, produce quality grant proposals, help nonprofits manage grants once they are received, and help in preparing grant reports if needed.
